BLACKOUT - Blindfold Contacts

Rating is 4.8 out of five stars based on 184 reviews
$44.95Price

Blind Black - Blindfold contact lenses (Non-Sclera, 12 month lifespan)

We are original designers and the first company to manufacture this type of contact, so we know the typical reasons for their use. We are the supplier to Insex, InfernalRestraints, The Upper Floor and many others in that industry. Aside from that, we also supply mainstream media, such as Niander Wallace (Jared Leto) in Blade Runner 2049.

These 15mm standard contacts have no clear pupil to see through. They are entirely black, non-sclera contact lenses. These are not a mesh pattern; they block light from entering your eyes acting as a form of blindfold.

For eye safety, it is VERY important that you never share contact lenses with another person. If you want to try them before your partner, you need multiple pairs.

We also created the BLINDFOLD - WHITE variety which are available for sale which work excellently in very bright light conditions.

Purchase Includes:

- Pair of 15mm blindfold black contacts (2 lenses)

- Contact lenses storage case

Delivery will be by USPS or Royal Mail, dispatched worldwide the next working day including to the USA, Europe, UK, Australia, Canada etc (see shipping for more information).

Be sure to read the Wear and Care guide before using these contacts. It also includes details of these contacts, including tips on how to put them in.

These are truly black outs. No light comes through.

They were shipped quickly and arrived in good order.

If well looked after they can be used many times.

I need to use a black lens for one eye due to a neurological condition. These lens provide complete coverage. They have proven to be of very good quality.

Lenses seem to be intact, but just leaving good review because of the good support from the scleracontacts team. My first package got lost in the mail (austrian post office...) and it was no problem to get them send a replacement. 5/5 would recommend

It's a good product. It is how it is described. I've liked the product description with the picture which shows the light spot. That's very honest and fits the reality. I would like to see them as e.g. mini sclera contact lenses with a bigger diameter, because there is still a little brighter circle around the edge, for me personally. And you notice brighter spots slightly. Based on our experience so far, this product is the best value for money. I recommend it for those who can wear contacts.

Thank you for the great feedback! We have just increased the size from 14.2mm to 15mm diameter to minimise chance of any light around the edge on quick eye movements. We want to balance the experience for the wearer, but also the aesthetic for them not to look too strange to viewers as people often wear these in public. Mini sclera are 17mm, and although that 2mm doesn't sound like much, it is very obvious! It's certainly an idea worth exploring as an alternative option for customers in the future though - watch this space! Thank you again.

I have always been fascinated by the thought of not being able to see. When I saw your ad for the blindfold black contacts I was interested. My partner and I go out with me wearing them. We go to places that I have never been before. It is a rush to find my way around without being able to see. I would recommend these to anyone.

We have purchased these twice now. They’re excellent. Looking at a direct light you might see a lighter shade of grey, but still cannot see anything else. We love these, and will absolutely be buying them again and again.

A blindfold in a contact case! And honestly, that part worked great. No issues with tracking either, arrived on time and everything.

However my wife started suffering eye irritation after wearing them for more then an hour.

Disappointing, especially since we were really excited to try these out for a long stretch.

Hello, it's important that you clean the contacts carefully before and after use just like any contact lens, and an important thing that people can easily forgot, stay very well hydrated! The eye will naturally dry out with or without contact lenses, but with contact lenses it can become uncomfortable. Ensuring that you're very adequetely hydrated reduces the potential of any irritation from dry eyes after a few hours (if you are naturally prone to dry eyes it may be worth applying lubricating eye drops - available from any pharmacy - hourly).
